If you run a pharmacy, (or know someone who does), we’d like to let you know about a unique opportunity we have to greatly broaden your customer service quickly and easily. It’s called National Custom Compounding’s Affiliate Pharmacy Program and it’s designed for pharmacists who want to offer their customers more.
As one of our Affiliate Pharmacies your business essentially becomes the gateway through which customers can access our highly specialised compounding service. We are steadily building a network of Affiliate Pharmacies throughout Australia, meaning more people can access compounded medications more conveniently.
We can’t be everywhere but our network of Affiliate Pharmacies can be.
What are the costs?
There is no cost involved in the program, however the benefits are many:
- We’re fast – most compounding scripts can be filled in 48 hours. More common compounds can be turned around in 24.
- We’re price-competitive – one of the lowest-priced compounders in the country.
- We’re uncomplicated – submit scripts with a few clicks online and we’ll keep your patient updated on your behalf via text. Easy.
We’re a safe pair of hands
Compounding pharmacy is one of the most highly regulated industry sectors in the country and as directed by the Pharmacy Board of Australia we follow guidelines set out in in the ‘Extemporaneous dispensing’ section of the current edition of the Australian Pharmaceutical Formulary and Handbook. We also follow our own set of strict Standard Operating Procedures.
National Custom Compounding also voluntarily participates in independent laboratory testing of our compounds to test for potency and shelf stability under “normal” (room temperature) and “accelerated” conditions (increased relative humidity 70% and temperature 45 degrees Celsius). These tests are undertaken at zero, one(1), three(3) and six (6) months.
Each of our lab rooms are equipped with a powder containment hood with appropriately maintained HEPA filters and each room has its own air supply through individual air-conditioning units.
In addition, all equipment at National Custom Compounding is maintained and calibrated according to USP standards (United States Pharmacopeia) and checked annually by Filtertech Australia and CSK Group.
So when you use National Custom Compounding for your compounding scripts you’ll be doing so safe in the knowledge that we won’t let you or your customers down.
